We believe that Christ’s coming is very near. One of the great desires on our hearts is for people to be ready for His appearing. Toward this end, we want to understand the ‘big story’ of God and experience transformational change in our hearts and souls. By ‘big story,’ we mean the one continuous story told from the early pages of Genesis to Revelation. By transformational change, we mean taking a realistic assessment of where we are today and creating a path to each person of our unique purposes and high callings.
Here at “OliveTreeInBloom,” we strive to do both: offer glimpses into God’s big story and provide encouragement on your personal growth journey. Recently, both Rhonda and I were hosted by our dear friend Laura-Catherine Etheridge on her Choosing Known podcast to tell our stories. We encourage you to listen below.
Closely related to the Big Story is a desire to help Christians go deeper in their walk with God. We do this using materials that have proven successful in personal transformation. One important goal in spiritual formation is to know ourselves so that we can better know God and thus become more like our Redeemer.
